Seitai - Japanese Hard Pressure Therapy

In this 3-days seminar you'll get an idea of how to give an effective deep tissue massage using your elbow, hands and body. It's a Japanese kind of massage, where with gentle but deep pressure you release tense muscles in a way that will make your partner feel a wonderful kind of pain.

In Japan this kind of massage is called Seitai. Seitai is in the original form a combination of chiropractic and hard pressure massage. But we will only focus on the massage part.

In Japan they do hard pressure therapy using their thumbs. But the Japanese person who brought the technique to Denmark around 30 years ago, realized that his thumbs would not last long using them on the pretty big western people. Therefore he developed the elbow technique.

During the seminar we'll focus on these issues:

  • Tense shoulders, neck and arms
  • Lower back pain
  • Sciatica problems
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Stretching
  • How to massage on your self
