You have a problem that no thinking or talking about it helps to solve. Then maybe there is a traumatic experience at the base of your problem, an experience so impossible to bare that you had to cut it off in order to survive––and you can’t even remember it today.
The methodology of the constellation is a simple therapeutic process that provides access to the less conscious aspects of yourself, thereby allowing for change and integration of the traumatic memories that underlie your problems.
How it works …
You come with an issue or ‘intention’ that is connected with your current emotional difficulty. You then construct a constellation by choosing a group member (or the therapist) to represent the intention (and maybe other relevant parts of your Self), placing them in the room according to your internal sense of the issue at hand. This constellation becomes an external representation of your internal psychic structure around the issue of your ‘intention’. The experiences of the ‘representatives’ in the constellation once placed always provide relevant information for you.
